They are made of brass heads with stainless steel prickers, that can be removed for ease of cleaning.

Does a great job with pork crackling. There’s great satisfaction in hammering away on a pork belly to prick the skin, and then roasting slowly to get the best crackling ever. Much better to use than a Jacquard or corn cob holder.
