Designed and made by renowned Australian Knifemaker Mr Keith Fludder (#unkykeif) (and featuring a totally awesome Niroc Knurl)

These amazing BONERAKER broaches allow you to have an adjustable width broaching tool to quickly and easily slot your handles to suit your hidden tang knives.

They feature a lightweight and comfortable oxidized aluminum handle (did we mention the knurl already, Its a sexy knurl) that will take up to 6mm (1/4″) thick of nested blades. The handle is 115mm (4.5″) long and is also supplied with 5 blades @150mm (6″) long and 1.22mm (?”) thick . These blades can be modified to your preference and we have plenty of spare blades if you want to modify some for making barrel knives.

To use the broach simply use the two hex keys provided to fasten a stack of blades to your required thickness into the handle. Drill a hole of appropriate size to the tang and work the tip in gently. no lube is required. You can shape the tip as required to your needs.

Note: if you are consistently working knives of set width tangs or the fact the blades can bow a little bit troubles you, a few drops of CA glue between the blades is recommended.
