NIROCed Automatic Center Punch

Description

The NIROCed Automatic Center punch has been one of the most requested products since we started making punches.

Our aim is to manufacture the best value for money and reliable and serviceable product, with all parts available as spares on request.

These punches are NOT made completely in house. We start with a quality, P&N (Australian) brand center punch, made in Taiwan to P&N Specifications. We then re machine and rebuild these punches, to make them truly a Niroc Product… They are NIROCed.

We machine them to accept our automatic prick punch tips. These tips are made from our proprietary tungsten alloy at approximately 72 HRC but tough enough to withstand impacts in even the hardest materials.

We modify the mechanism to ensure the best possible chance of perfect firing every time.

We add a Niroc Anti Roll Technology brass handle, for much better comfort, and roll stability.

Finally we Knurl them with your choice of infinite designs. We are currently offering star knurl and kumiko knurl as these look the best on hex, but by all means put in a special request for another standard pattern single colour pattern or we can go full custom on request.

Manage your expectations.

These are a prick punch for accurate and detailed hole location marking during layout. They will leave a nice prick punch, but if you require something deeper, follow up with a Niroc traditional style tungsten tipped center punch.

These are however mechanical devices. they have 5 moving parts in operation that interact with four piece body.

We guarantee our product will work reliably out of the box but like any automatic center punch, they will need to be cleaned, and maintained regularly to ensure longevity. Dress any burrs that form on the internal hammer and pin punch and ensure you keep them free of foreign material.
